Introduction

The Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa (INDIRE) has activated the research Maker@Scuola project, which aims to identify the possible educational implications associated with the introduction of 3D printers in primary schools.

As part of the project, it is also possible to experiment with a 3D modeling software dedicated to the School.

In any case, the software is available to anyone who wants to use it to start to be familiar with 3D modeling.

For this purpose INDIRE provides the software called SugarCAD, which can be accessed through any web browsers.

The software is available on the project website (http://3d.indire.it/), logging with a personal user profile allows you to use all of its features, including saving the projects you have made.

The projects made with SugarCAD and uploaded by the users on the platform can be used, in anonymous form, by INDIRE for research purposes, to improve the software and divulge them for scientific purposes both in paper and digital format.

Registration to the software involves the transfer of user rights of the projects to INDIRE, for the purposes of research.

Data processing

The D. Lgs. n. 196 del 30 giugno 2003 (Codice in materia di protezione dei dati personali) provides for the protection of persons and other subjects with respect to the processing of personal data.

According to the mentioned law, such treatment will be based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency and the protection of your privacy and your rights.

According to the article 13 del D. Lgs. 196/2003, therefore, the following information is provided:

Personal Data

1. The Personal Data are: name, surname, e-mail address, profile image.
2. The data you provide will be processed for the following purposes: The aforementioned data will be collected under the 'Maker@Scuola' project, which aims to identify, through the implementation of a series of research activities, the possible educational implications associated with the introduction of 3D Printers in the school.
3. Data processing will be performed in the following ways: The data will be processed in electronic and/or informatic mode, through systems operated exclusively by INDIRE and access to which is allowed, only to technical personnel or authorized researchers who will have the respect of the privacy.
4. The holder of the treatment is: INDIRE, in the person of his legal representative p.t. .
5. The transfer of data is optional. Any refusal will not allow you to use all the features provided by the software.
6. The data will not be disclosed but may only be communicated to INDIRE personnel responsible for technical support to the platform or to authorized researchers, who must respect the privacy law
7. The treatment does not address sensitive data.
8. At any time, you may exercise your rights to the data subject under the article 7 del D. Lgs. 196/2003.

The undersigned, once acquired the information provided by the data controller in accordance with the article 13 del D. Lgs 196 del 2003,

Give the consensus

to the processing of personal data for the purposes and with the methods indicated in the information above.

The undersigned in the widest possible way from any possibility of liability arising from inappropriate use of the software

The undersigned acknowledged the above information and is aware of the penalties provided for the ex art. 76 del D.P.R. 445/2000 which it will incur in case of false declarations:

DECLARE

that the work, which is the subject of the transfer of intellectual property rights, created using the SugarCAD software made available by INDIRE:

• Is authentic and original, and does not, in any way, harm third parties' rights in accordance with the international, community and legislative provisions of Law 633/1941 on copyright and subsequent regulatory provisions nor constitute a violation of criminal law ;
• It is the result of his work, not transcribed, or copied from other sources;

The undersigned also delcare:

• To be the only author of the work
• Of not using third-party works
• To authorize the publication of the work, or part of it, on the platform at the address http://3d.indire.it
• To authorize the use of the work for INDIRE search
• To have read and accepted the information on the use of the SugarCAD software

The undersigned also:

raises the Istituto Nazionale di Documentazione, Innovazione e Ricerca Educativa (INDIRE) di Firenze for any liability for damages caused by the work sold;

The reference of the Maker@scuola project is Lorenzo Guasti.
